Our Subea brand designed this split neoprene jacket with unstructured or realistic camouflage for intermediate spearfishing divers in temperate waters (16-24°C)This spearfishing diving suit jacket features Subea’s new and exclusive camouflage. It provides warmth, stealth and comfort with its split neoprene, anatomic cut and reinforced chest.
Fragile lining
Split neoprene is a fragile material. It is advisable to wet this diving suit first, preferably with soapy water, and then to put it on with the greatest care.
Your nails can damage the inside of your diving suit, if you do not put it on / take it off correctly. If a snag or tear appears in the diving suit, it must be repaired with neoprene glue.
Exclusive Subea camouflage: what is the difference between the unstructured black camo and the realistic khaki camo?
The camouflage used on spearfishing diving suits is designed to help the wearer blend in better with the underwater environment.
The grey/black camo (diving suit reference 8552355) is “unstructured”. Its unstructured disruptive design breaks up the outline of the spearfishing diver.
The khaki camo (diving suit reference 8501841) is “realistic”. Its almost photographic print allows the diver to blend in with their environment against rock, seagrass, seaweed, etc.
Diving suit colours
Once the diving suit is wet, the colours become darker.
Fastening
This spearfishing jacket has a double-clip crotch fastener (beaver tail with double clip).
Stitch bonded assembly
First, the neoprene is bonded, and then stitched for maximum resistance to abrasion. A specific stitch is used: the needle does not pass completely through the neoprene to prevent water from entering the jacket when diving.
Reinforcements
The jacket features a reinforced pad (diving suit reference 8501841) on the trunk to make it easier to position the speargun loading butt.
The elbows are also reinforced.
